In April 2021, Gary Mozingo fulfilled a lifelong vision by purchasing Doerler Landscapes & Hidden Springs from the Doerler family. With a successful 25-year career in the Green Industry, starting in 1998 and culminating as Vice President of Construction & Irrigation at a large North Jersey company for almost 15 years, Gary brings extensive experience to his new role. Alongside his wife, four children, family, and dedicated staff, Gary aims to maintain the company’s high-quality work and services while actively engaging in community services. Gary’s business ethos prioritizes his team members’ well-being and fostering meaningful client relationships grounded in integrity. Founded in 1962 by William (Bill) K. Doerler and his wife Mary, Doerler Landscapes originated from humble beginnings. Bill, an immigrant, worked tirelessly to fund his degree in Ornamental Horticulture at Cornell University, alternating semesters between school and work. After graduation and a brief Air Force career as a pilot, Bill, Mary, and their four children established the family business. In 2000, Steve Doerler took over, expanding the company’s offerings. In 2004, he acquired Hidden Springs Lawn Irrigation, diversifying services to include design/build, maintenance, snow removal, irrigation, and low voltage lighting for both commercial and residential clients.
